Free bus and train rides

Be mobile without a car, without additional costs and without the hassle of finding a parking space - this is possible in the Ammergauer Alps Nature Park. Guests of the Ammergauer Alps Nature Park which have the KönigsCard or the electronic guest card, can not only ride with the regional bus free of charge, but from 01 April 2019 can also use the trains of the DB Regio. The guest card / plastic card is valid for both - for the regional bus in the entire branch area West and for the train route from Oberammergau to Murnau as well as between Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Uffing

What do you have to do? In the bus you simply show the small electronic guest card / plastic card. For the trips with the DB Regio you have to take with you the following "things":

  • the electronic guest card
  • Your photo ID
  •  a piece of paper with other information which you receive from your host

All documents will be provided by your host upon arrival. Taking a bike or dog with you are chargeable. The lines that go beyond the scope are also subject to a charge.
