Description
The Hörnle is the local mountain of Bad Kohlgrub and lies at the entrance of the Ammergauer Alps.
The Hörnle is comprised of three peaks: Front Hörnle (1484 m), Middle Hörnle (1496 m) and Rear Hörnle (1548 m).
The Hörnle is an attractive destination for hikers. It may be reached either on foot or by cable car. The top of the Hörnle features an observation platform with a Nordic Walking Trail during the summer and skiing as well as tobogganing during the winter – the Hörnle offers opportunities galore for the athletically inclined during each and every season.
