Bad Bayersoien orchard

In her speech, Mayor Kieweg particularly thanked the many volunteers, without whose efforts the planting and watering of the trees would not have been possible. “It is a joint and completely successful project by small and large community members,” says Kieweg, because the children from the Bad Bayersoien elementary school were allowed to plant the first trees. District advisor Bernadette Wimmer from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district provided advice and support with her specialist knowledge when selecting plants.

The walk from the center of the town to the newly designed meadow only takes about ten minutes. It is even closer from the Bad Bayersoiener Kurpark. Even the little ones can manage this distance on foot. A fantastic panoramic view and a relaxing expanse reward hikers. That's why there are already benches there. In the future, additional comfortable lounge chairs will be set up.
