Wool is far more than a craft material – it is a living treasure of nature, thousands of years old. On this special experiential walk through picturesque Bad Bayersoien, we will take you on a journey that engages all your senses: seeing, feeling, marveling, and understanding.
 
Together we embark on a journey of discovery to the animal origins of this valuable raw material. We visit both gentle alpacas and fluffy sheep – and experience firsthand where the precious fiber that warms and accompanies us comes from.
 
Step by step, our hiking guide Janina explains to you the necessary craft process to turn a raw fleece into a knitable ball of wool:
