Guided tour of the Passion Play Theatre

During the Oberammergau Museum's closure (02.02.-07.03.26+09.11.-21.12.26)
A guided tour of the Passion Play Theatre takes place every Wednesday and Sunday at 2 pm (duration approx. 45 minutes).

At other times, the following guided tours are offered:
Twice daily (except Mondays) in German:
14:00 PM (13:00 PM on Saturdays)
16:00 p.m.

1x English guided tour at 11 am (except on Mondays)

This entertaining guided tour through the Passion Play Theatre will teach you a lot about the history of the Passion Plays and about the Passion Play Theatre itself.

They visit the auditorium, listen to excerpts from the Passion, and see slides of the Passion.

Then you will go backstage and visit the dressing rooms and the props.
