The Bad Kohlgrub Volunteer Fire Department cordially invites you to its open day on Sunday, August 23, 2026.
The day starts at 11 a.m. with a traditional morning pint, accompanied musically by de junga Oidbachana until about 17 p.m.
Throughout the day, visitors can experience firefighting up close: vehicles, equipment and the fire station are available for viewing.
Program highlights:
• 14:00 PM – Hose pulling competition of the local clubs
• 16:00 PM – Technical rescue exercise together with the mountain rescue service
• All day – First aid station for refreshing first aid knowledge
• For children: climbing tower, bouncy castle, rides in a fire truck and fire truck hose races
Your physical well-being is well catered for: grilled specialties, fish on a stick, currywurst with fries, as well as coffee and cake. Fresh draft beer and a wheat beer trolley are also available.
