Enjoy theatrical performances at the Passion Play Theatre in Oberammergau.
An adaptation of the novel "Tyll" by Daniel Kehlmann.

The story of Till Eulenspiegel, the rogue from Kneitlingen near Braunschweig, is transposed from the 14th century to the Thirty Years' War. In his specially written play, director Christian Stückl tells of hunger and poverty, of fairs and magic tricks, and of a fool who somehow seems to have achieved immortality.

Tickets for the eight performances across four weekends in June and July are available in the Tourist information for the Ammergau Alps and available onlineFurthermore, a bus transfer from Munich is available. Tickets for this can be purchased at the same locations.
