Ludwig's Bistro & Gifts

At our modern self-service counter you will find almost everything your hunger and thirst could desire: hearty snacks, such as original Bavarian white sausages with pretzels and sweet mustard, oven-warm ciabatta breads with original Italian fillings or a fresh apple strudel await you, as well as numerous other temptations. 

In addition to beers from the traditional brand "Hofbräu München", we also serve all common non-alcoholic drinks as well as perfectly long-roasted coffee variations or organic teas, all regionally sourced from southern Bavaria. 

On warm days, our LANGNESE ice cream is a popular and refreshing treat. A wide selection of chocolates, pralines, chocolate bars, and savory snacks ensures you'll find the perfect little pick-me-up between meals.

The modern glass front in the bistro offers a view of the Temple of Venus, a Greek round temple above the terraced grounds of Linderhof Palace, from which a larger-than-life marble figure of Venus lovingly gazes at the palace.
