During an informative presentation at the Ettal cheese dairy, you will learn how tasty cheese is made from around 3.000 liters of milk every day. There are also exciting insights into the connections between nature conservation, agriculture and food production.

 

Moor care products

In her small soap factory, Veronika Wurm conjures up extraordinary care products. Valuable soaps and bath additives such as the 'Bath Chocolate' and the 'MoorSymphonie' soap are created from natural raw materials and with the addition of alpine mountain pine moor from the Ammergau Alps. The program also includes a nourishing body butter with added moor and mountain pine scent and much more.

St. Luke's Association

The St. Luke's Association is an association of Oberammergau wood carvers and wood sculptors.

Since 1836 The association takes care of the carving needs. Initially as a cooperative support for occupational accidents, changing into a marketing and finally into an exhibition platform such as the Krippenweg in Oberammergau. The members' works are stamped "handcarved Oberammergau".
