Ammergau Alps Wild

Since spring 2019, game from hunts in the Ammergau Alps Nature Park has been awarded the regional marketing quality seal, the white and blue diamond.

The game, which has been awarded the regional marketing quality seal, comes from hunts that are predominantly located in the Ammergau Alps nature park region. Restaurateurs and processors such as butchers can use it to mark regional products.

The Oberammergau private forest cooperative has already awarded its regional game meat the regional marketing seal. 

 

 

 

Venison - meat and preparation - facts

Especially in the cold season, venison is valued as the basis of aromatic winter cuisine. It is less well known that the meat is available almost all year round. Nor is it that venison is suitable for grilling, in addition to the classic preparation methods such as roasting and braising.
