On clear days you can see the Lech to the west and the Wieskirche juts out cheekily from the forest. Lake Starnberg and Lake Staffelsee sparkle in the plain and Munich can be seen far away on the horizon.
Plus of course the hut, a wonderful one Sun terrace and the cheeky pine jay ladywho begs for bread.
If you don’t want to walk, you can take the Hörnle suspension railway brought up.

Further information
Due to a municipal ordinance, dogs are required to be kept on a leash at the Hörnle! You are in an alpine area here. Be considerate towards grazing animals!
