Passion Theater Oberammergau

The Passion Play Theatre in Oberammergau is home to the Passion plays Since the Passion Play of 1900, an impressive iron framework structure with six high arches has covered the approximately 4500 seats. The auditorium opens to the open-air stage. The architecture of the Passion Play Theatre creates a unique theatrical atmosphere and thus plays a crucial role in the staging of the Passion Play. 
But theatre isn't just something you experience every 10 years here. Every summer, the people of Oberammergau stage a new play.

The Passion Play Theatre can be experienced all year round on a guided tour that takes you into the auditorium, but also behind the scenes:

In English:

• 11 Uhr.
