Ettal Show Dairy - Schönegger Cheese Alpine Pasture

The Ettal show dairy, since October 1, 2025, from the Schönegger Cheese Dairy Operated by a local farm, the shop offers visitors regional culinary experiences featuring genuine mountain farm hay milk. In the shop area, aromatic cheese specialties, yogurt, hay milk, creamy spreads, and freshly baked farmhouse bread await. On the sunny terrace, guests can also enjoy hearty snacks, coffee, and homemade cakes.

The Ettal show dairy is an attractive destination for families, groups and gourmets in the heart of the Ammergau Alps.

Opening hours:
High season: daily from 10:00 to 17:00 (no closing day)
Off-season: daily from 10:00 to 16:00 (closed on Mondays)

• Show cheese (May to October every Thursday at 11:30 am, admission €12, prior registration is requested) 
  
• Hay milk cheese tasting presentation (Every Saturday at 11:00 am from the end of February to October, admission €6,50, no prior registration required)
