Bad Kohlgruber's local mountain Hörnle has a small but nice family ski area.

On the Hörnle there is a drag lift with a wonderful view and two beautiful valley runs, the gentle family run and the challenging standard run, which remains unprepared for freeriders.
In the lower area, children and beginners can use the Tannenbankerl lift.
The Hörnle is particularly popular with tourers. There is a separate ascent track for them, which ski tourers often climb late in the evening on bright moonlit nights. The Hörnle Hut then offers cozy evenings in the hut!
