Soier Lake

The moor water of the Soier See is gentle on the body. Humic substances color the water brown. The humic substances arise in the surrounding moor, as the dead plant parts are only partially broken down here. The small lake in Bad Bayersoien warms up quickly and is not overcrowded even in midsummer. The large lawn directly on the south side of Lake Soier offers space for young and old. Also on its south side is the Bathing area with kiosk and boat rental.

A highlight for them little guests is certainly the 2,5 km long one Nature trail around the small moor lake. But it's not just the children who learn a lot about the local flora and fauna while bathing.

Please note: Due to a municipal ordinance, dogs are required to be kept on a leash at Lake Soier!

Boat rental prices (max. 4 people):

• €4,00 for the first half hour (€3,00 with guest card)
• €2,00 for each additional ½ hour (€1,50 with guest card)

Sport fishing

• Half-day ticket €7,50 (for guests with a guest card and residents of the Ammergau Alps and the Pfaffenwinkel € 5,00, Card valid 05:00 a.m. - 13:00 p.m. or 13:00 p.m. - 21:00 p.m.)
• Day ticket €12,00 (for guests with a guest card and residents of the Ammergau Alps and the Pfaffenwinkel € 10,00)
• Weekly ticket €50,00 (for guests with a guest card and residents of the Ammergau Alps and the Pfaffenwinkel € 40,00)
• There are 4 fishing boats available at the price of €5,00 for 1/2 day and €10,00 for the whole day. Tickets at the machine.

Fish season: April 16nd to October 31th

Special regulation: 2 fishing rods allowed. Fishing time from 05:00 a.m. to 21:00 p.m

Every fisherman needs a state fishing license from the responsible authority of residence as well as the fishing permit from the issuing office!
