Mountain tour - Große Klammspitz

The tour starts at Linderhof Palace (Bus stop and paid parking lot).

The climb starts from the parking lot at Linderhof Castle on a wide, shady forest path to the fountain head houses. This is the only place to stop for a break on the tour.

If you want to climb the first peak of the day at the Brunnenkopfhäuser, follow the path up to Fountain head. Back at the Brunnenkopfhäuser, follow the path towards Große Klammspitze. Halfway through this section you can take a detour over challenging terrain Small gorge peak (recommended only for experienced mountaineers!). Otherwise, take the marked path into the cirque below the Große Klammspitze and up to the summit.

Here you have a dream Panoramic mountain reached a point where it's worth taking a break. The descent takes place on the same path past the Brunnenkopfhütte.
