The first section runs over the popular “Alherrenweg” to the marked entry point to the Großer Aufacker. About partial steep switchbacks The path winds up to the summit, which has a... fantastic view of Oberammergau waiting for you. For the annual Ludwig fire are here in honor of the fairy tale king Mountain fire ignited.
The route goes down via wider paths through the mountain forest Mountain restaurant Romanshöhe (Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 17:00 p.m.) where you can stop off and enjoy the view over the Ammer Valley.
Walk back to the starting point via the "Altherrenweg".
