Directions
The hike begins at the Hörnle Bahn valley stadium in Bad Kohlgrub. From here you first go leisurely to the Sonnen district and continue on the winter path (marker 18a), which leads across alpine meadows to the Hörnlehütte.
The descent takes place for a short time on the same path, downhill via the ski slope. Shortly before the mountain rescue hut, turn right on the summer path. (marker 18), which takes you back to the starting point.
The tour can be extended to the summit hike to the Vorder-, Mittlere- and Hintere Hörnle. This increases the time required from the Hörnlehütte and back by around 1 hour.
