This tour takes you around the Ettaler Manndl and features scenic highlights such as the Murnauer Moos or the Ammertal. There is also a lot on offer culturally on this tour with Ettal Monastery, the passion play location Oberammergau or the Kaulbach Villa in Ohlstadt. In Murnau you can also visit the castle museum and the Münter House.

Directions

The tour begins in Murnau at the train station. From there you drive downhill to Ähndl and through the Murnauer Moos. Then it goes uphill to Bad Kohlgrub. From there you drive through the district of Kraggenau to Wurmansau and reach the passion play location Oberammergau. We go along the Ammer to Ettal. Over the Old Ettaler Berg - beware of the sliding section! - we go down to Oberau. Along the Loisach you first reach Eschenlohe, then Ohlstadt and finally return to Murnau.
