Directions
You leave Murnau east towards Riegsee, cycle on asphalt roads with little traffic to Hofheim and the Franz Marc village of Sindelsdorf.
From here you follow the course of the Loisach south and past the Glentleiten stud farm to Oberau. The longest and most strenuous climb of the 82-kilometer route begins here: the old Ettaler Berg. There's no shame in pushing!
Once at the top of the monastery, you roll along the Ammertal valley to Bad Kohlgrub on a scenic ride. High above the Murnauer Moos we return to Murnau.
