From the hiking car park at Linderhof Palace The signposted path leads up through the forest and is initially accompanied by a beautiful stream. The evenly rising, wide gravel and gravel path make the climb easy to walk. Emerging from the forest at the top, the path runs along the regrazed Brunnenkopf Alm and offers a great view. That's from here too Brunnenkopfhütte which can now be reached in just a few minutes. Numerous tables, chairs and benches offer visitors enough space to stop off, relax and enjoy the view of the Graswangtal, Ettal, the Kreuzspitze and Friederspitze and the Wetterstein Mountains with food and drink. If you want to go further, you can reach the summit from here Fountain head reach in about 15 minutes.

Address for the navigation system: Linderhof 10; 82488 Ettal
A95 Munich – Garmisch to the end of the motorway and on to Oberau. Turn right to Oberammergau, through Ettal and before Oberammergau turn left towards Linderhof Castle. Park there in a large parking lot. The tour begins at the western end of the parking lot.
