Hut hike - Soila Alm

At the valley station of the Laber mountain railway The path first leads along the Große Laine. If you follow the forest path and the signs, you will reach a bridge over the stream and leave the forest path onto a small path. Afterwards the cattle pasture begins (please note the relevant rules of conduct here). Every now and then there are benches that invite you to linger. After another stretch of forest path, you have the choice: if you prefer a leisurely route, you can continue following the forest path (if the weather is good, there is a beautiful view over Ohlstadt and the Murnauer Moos), and if you are more adventurous, you can choose a smaller path . Accompanied by the ringing of bells from the cows Soila Alm reached soon. Weather permitting, you can stop here on the sun terrace every day from midday onwards.

If you want to go a little further after the Soila Alm Laber / Ettaler Manndl goes to the Soila Lake, which often dries up in summer.

The same route takes you back to the starting point of the Laber-Bergbahn valley station.
