Bike tour - Saulgrub circular tour

They start at the community hall of Saulgrub and cycle north on the B 23 federal highway until they reach the large traffic light system.

From here, take the cycle path next to the state road to Bad Kohlgrub. Shortly after the beginning of Bad Kohlgrub, turn right towards “Hörnlebahn” and drive uphill to the Evangelical Church. At the church, turn right onto Baumgartnerstraße and through the Kraggenau district in the direction of Saulgrub.

Shortly before Saulgrub, approx. 100 m before a garden center, turn left onto a gravel road. After about 600 m you will come across an asphalt road again. Here you take a sharp left, not onto the B23. The road takes you past the Aura Hotel to Wurmansau. In Wurmansau, in front of the small chapel, keep right.

Drive under the federal highway B 23 to the connecting road, where you keep right until you reach Altenau. On the village road you go through the town to the extinguishing pond. Now turn right again and cycle slightly uphill on the local route back to Saulgrub.

This 9 km long cycle route is ideal for families with younger children. Once back at the Bürgersaal destination, the little ones can let off steam in the community playground.
