Summit-rich tour for snowshoe hikers with good fitness and good orientation. Please avoid the area between the Middle Hörnle and Drei Marken from dusk to dawn. See photo

Nice route tour over that Hörnle and the Bull head. In the first part of the tour you are mostly in open area on the edge of the ski slope on the way. In the middle section you always have the best panoramic view. The transition from Stierkopf via Drei Marken to Romanshöhe is usually easy through mountain forest with occasional views of the mountains of the Ammergau Alps.

The tour was designed as part of the “environmentally friendly ski mountaineering” project  German Alpine Club  for the year 2015  in collaboration with local representatives  (forestry, hunting and farmers).

Please respect existing wildlife resting areas and avoid the time between dusk and dawn, as wild animals are particularly vulnerable to disturbance at this time.
