Directions
The tour begins at the parking lot on Kirmesauer Straße in Bad Bayersoien.
From there you continue directly to Lake Soier, which you circle almost completely. In summer the lake invites you to take a refreshing swim. Afterwards you can relax in the loungers provided.
There is also a barefoot trail running along the lake, where young and old can explore a wide variety of surfaces with their feet.
Then leave Soier Lake round and reach the Rochusfeld in Bad Kohlgrub via thefinder forest. In this typical raised moor landscape, the moor for the baths is still being actively mined.
Now you arrive at the Bad Kohlgrub moor nature trail. Here you can learn a lot about the special features of our valuable healing moor and a small pond with a lounger invites you to relax.
You leave the town past the districts of Vorderkehr and Hinterkehr and hike back via Geizenmoos and the HAIKU Weg Bad Bayersoien.
Another moor educational trail awaits you here, which clearly explains the origins and importance of the moor for the region.
If you now continue and leave the nature trail, you will return to the starting point of the tour.
Alternatively, you can of course choose Bad Kohlgrub as the start and end point.
