Directions
This short round starts on Ettal Monastery and first follows the road towards Oberau. Shortly before the end of town - at the bus stop - turn into Alte Bergstrasse. After about 150m, turn left and walk uphill to the beginning of the Enzianweg. From there it goes over undulating terrain through the forest, with some wonderful views Graswangtal. At the end of the Enzianweg you will meet the hiking trail that leads to the Ettaler Manndl. Here you follow the path to the left towards the valley. Immediately afterwards take the right path (Höhenweg) and walk along this path around the entire monastery complex back into the village to the starting point.
