Various ski areas with runs for different levels extend around the beautiful Oberammergau with its striking local mountain, the Kofel (1.342 m). You can ski in Deep snow area at Laber (1.686 m), in family-friendly ski area Kolbensattel (1.276 m), am Steckenberg adventure mountain near Unterammergau or on the Hörnle (1.548 m) near Bad Kohlgrub.
