The Ammergau Alps Nature Park is probably one of the most authentic holiday regions in Bavaria: guests can expect a holiday here from Bad Bayersoien in the north to the wildly romantic Graswangtal in the southwest unique natural landscape, which - due to its special characteristics and diversity - the predicate “Nature Park” wearing. 

The 5 landscapes are typical for the Ammergau Alps Nature Park: original forests, rough and rugged mountains, mystical moors, colorful meadows and wild Water.

A 500 kilometer comprehensive can be found on site Network of hiking trails explore. You also try to have a lasting influence on tourism and are in close contact with the region's destination management organization (DMO), Ammergauer Alpen GmbH. 

Locals and guests can also get actively involved in nature conservation, for example in the activities of the Team Ammertal or the Valley Green Up. Those interested can also meet with the nature park rangers at the events that take place regularly on Sundays Ranger tours on a discovery tour
