The Ammer springs in the Ettaler Weidmoos nature reserve, nestled between Oberammergau and Ettal in the Ammergau Alps Nature Park, offer an impressive natural spectacle. Here, the water from the Linder River, which seeps into the western Graswang Valley, resurfaces in several springs, visible through the rising air bubbles. After a few meters, the small spring streams merge to form the "Little Ammer," which winds its way through the moorland of the Ettal Basin. Shortly thereafter, the "Great Ammer" begins its course and continues north. From a viewing platform, you can observe the air bubbles in the spring area and experience this natural spectacle up close.
