On the hike between Bad Bayersoien and Bad Kohlgrub through the Geizenmoos there are 17 wooden steles with short lyrical texts on the side of the path: HAIKUS. This form of poetry has its origins in Japan.
HAIKUS are short poems in the form of three lines containing 5 + 7 + 5 syllables. These seventeen syllables are intended to record an observation, a flash of thought. Nature plays a big role in this. The reader is not taught in these short texts; he should let his own thoughts arise.
